Major Advocacy Win: Seizure First-Aid Bill Advances in South Carolina
Thanks to the leadership and advocacy efforts of JenVon Chrry, South Carolina lawmakers are advancing legislation that would require seizure first-aid information to be posted in state workplaces.

The bill directs the South Carolina Department of Public Health to develop and distribute official seizure first-aid materials to state agencies. These resources will help employees recognize seizures and respond appropriately — improving safety and awareness across government offices statewide.

This milestone reflects years of education, outreach, and testimony led by our founder and the epilepsy community.
