Chair Ambassador, Jewels of Epilepsy

Born in Nashville and raised in Georgia, LaKesha Floyd is a proud epilepsy warrior, advocate, and faith-driven leader who uses her journey to inspire and uplift others living with epilepsy.

After years of seizures being mistaken for anxiety and sinus-related issues, LaKesha was officially diagnosed with epilepsy in 2020 following a life-changing medical emergency during the COVID-19 pandemic. The diagnosis brought fear, uncertainty, and emotional challenges, but through faith, education, and perseverance, she learned to take control of her health and embrace her purpose.

Today, LaKesha serves as Chair Ambassador for the Jewels of Epilepsy program, where she helps create awareness, support, and meaningful connections within the epilepsy community. She is passionate about encouraging others to know they are not alone and believes in leading with compassion, prayer, and purpose.
